Aoe 2 updating system settings

The diagram on the right shows the relative size of Ao E maps. Here is another view, that shows playable area per player in game. This feature is only applicable to Age of Empires HD.You can choose to disable this feature through the game menu.Laptop with 1920x1080 screen: Desktop with 1280x1024 screen: Laptop with 1366x768 screen: Extremely high resolution: To use this feature for a single screen in any game room select "Force Desktop Resolution In Game".The options are shown in the screenshot below: If you want a different resolution then your default desktop resolution change your resolution before you launch the game: If you have multiple screens you can now enable the multi-monitor support on Voobly and the game will span across all your screens.

In Control Panel, click Appearance And Personalization. Under the Display heading, click Make Text And Other Items Larger Or Smaller. The default scaling options allow you to choose a 100-percent scale (the default), a 125-percent scale, or a 150-percent scale.

When you use scaling in this way, Windows magnifies the size of text and UI elements to the scale you choose.

Each account on a computer has a separate setting for scaling.

In Age of Empires HD, you set the population limit in the Voobly game room: In Rise of Rome HD, the new population limits are added to the existing population menu: You can select gigantic map sizes (60% more playable area than huge!

) and a new map size between large and huge called "extra large", another map size extra huge is added between huge and gigantic.

Cells with red border is what was possible before, cells with blue background shows what you can do now.
